Striking coastal wildlife species with a rosette of fleshy stemless leaves and small green-brown flowers on dense 1-foot spikes. An important larval host plant for butterflies. AKA goose tongue. Away from the immediate coast, this species will need additional irrigation. The seeds are edible and they reseed readily.
