Deschampsia caespitosa
Tufted HairgrassThere is much variation in this circumboreal species and much confusion. We are looking for some seed from a local known population to propagate. A gorgeous mid-sized coastal bunchgrass with a light, tufted texture and showy bloom.
Lovely flower.
These were in Salt Point State Park on the coastal bluff, maybe not Deschampsia but it has a similar habit in these conditions. -Paul
